Interpol

Since 2007’s Our Love to Admire, Interpol has not released a new album.  Band members have remained busy working on various side projects, but this is soon to change.  Drummer Sam Fogarino told Paste that the band spend most of 2009 recording a new album at New York’s Electric Lady studio.  According to him, the band has been rediscovering their roots, and these tracks should be more reminiscent of debut album Turn on the Bright Lights. The yet-untitled album is due for release on Capitol records early next year.  Should be interesting to see how it sounds.
