The word is out about the dates for next year’s festival. From June 10 – 13th, 2010, you can head on over to Manchester, Tennessee to see the 9th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Tickets will go on sale on November 27th on the Bonnaroo website.
Unfortunately, the musical lineup will not be announced until late January and early February, but the blogosphere is teeming with predictions about who will be headlining this year’s festival. After Phish reunited at the festival and performed with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, it doesn’t seem too far-fetched to hope for a large Pavement reunion show. A few other predicted names include The Who, Phish (again), and believe it or not, Guns n’ Roses.
I hope that ‘Roo 2010 will continue to draw the great bands it has previously, especially coming off such a strong year in 2009. Check out BRU’s coverage of ‘Roo 2009 below:
