Rumor has it that lead singer Steven Tyler will no longer be performing with Aerosmith. The band’s guitarist, Joe Perry, told the Las Vegas Sun that “Steven quit as far as [he could] tell.” Tyler himself recently told Classic Rock magazine that his next project would “be something Steven Tyler, working on the brand of [himself] – Brand Tyler.” Perry also said that he hasn’t talked to Tyler in months, and that there has been tension among the band since August when they were forced to cancel their tour after Tyler fell off the stage and was injured. Though Perry says he still cares for Tyler, he also has expressed no qualms about finding a replacement singer for the band.
